Ashley Zieglar M.A., CCC-SLP

Founder and SLP

After years of working in the schools, I realized I wanted more time to truly partner with families. I wanted the opportunity to answer every question, celebrate every milestone, and create therapy plans based on each family's needs. I created Root & Rise to provide a more personal, connected therapy experience where families feel supported every step of the way. One of my favorite parts of being a speech therapist is seeing a child's face light up when they are able to express their wants and needs, and connect with others.

  • License Speech-Language Pathologist

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)

  • Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology.

  • Extensive experience working in early childhood 3–5 year olds in both individual and group settings.

  • Experience supporting children with developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, language disorders, speech sound disorders, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

My passion is supporting preschool-aged children with developmental delays during the critical early years of communication through play-based therapy. I also provide speech and language therapy for school-aged children who need support with speech sounds, expressive language, receptive language, and AAC.
