Speech-Language Pathologist
Ashley Zieglar M.A., CCC-SLP
SLP and Owner
At Root & Rise Therapeutic Services, I believe that meaningful communication begins with connection. I am a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP) with 7 years of experience supporting children and families across school-based and home health settings.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida and my Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Toledo. Throughout my career, I have worked with children ages 3–12 in both individual and group settings, as well as adults in home health care.
My passion lies in supporting preschool-aged children with developmental delays during the critical early years of communication development. I specialize in helping young children build foundational language, play, social communication, and early learning skills that support success at home, in school, and within their communities. I have experience working with children with developmental delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, language disorders, specific learning disabilities, and speech sound disorders.
In addition to early childhood intervention, I provide speech and language therapy for school-aged children who need support with articulation, phonological skills, language development, and functional communication.
My therapy approach is relationship-based, child-centered, and individualized to each child's strengths and needs. I believe that children learn best when they feel connected, supported, and engaged. Through play, meaningful interactions, and collaboration with families and caregivers, I strive to create positive therapy experiences that build confidence and promote lasting progress.
At Root & Rise Therapeutic Services, my goal is to help children develop the communication skills they need to grow, connect, and rise.
